Cocoon Bridges

This unique bridge is subtly arched and its striking design is optimised for efficiency in its structural integrity. The user is embraced by the bridge as they approach. A stainless steel handrail is placed on the inside. LED lighting can be installed along the floor plates to accentuate the characteristic curves of the bridge. The walking deck can be provided with our unique Cordeck® Dots to make it more slip-resistant. The Cocoon Bridge has a maximum length of 12 meters (39 ft) and a deck width of approximately 150 cm (59”). The bridge complies with all relevant local standards and regulations.

In the Bridge Process, Streetlife makes use of a six-step plan: from idea to realization. The diagram shows how Streetlife can assist you by providing the appropriate information at each stage of your layout plan. Short delivery times are possible; average 12-14 weeks after approval of the drawings by the client. Our bridges are delivered almost entirely in prefab state, so that installation usually requires only a few days. Experience has indicated that the delivery time depends more on the decision-making process than it does on the actual manufacturing process.
