Take-Back Programme:

Building a circular future together

At Streetlife, sustainability does not end with the delivery of products or spare parts for repairs. We enable our customers to return our products at the end of their life cycle.

Synthetic Cones
Synthetic Cones
By taking back used components, such as recycled beams (All Black, Cloudy Grey or Lava Grey) and standard metal components, we can reintroduce these into the production chain. This way we reduce waste, save resources and work together with our customers to build a circular economy. Our work goes further: even before the end of the product’s lifespan is reached. We focus on extending the lifetime of our products through repair and replacement of parts, so they remain in use for longer.

Why a Take-back programme?

Our sector uses many raw materials. By taking back certain materials after use we:

  • Extend the lifespan of valuable raw materials
  • Reduce waste and CO₂ emissions
  • Enable reuse and high-quality recycling
  • Stimulate circular thinking within projects and our products

We believe responsibility does not end with sale and delivery. That is why we actively take the next step: the return and reprocessing of our components and products.

What do we take back?

Within the Take-Back Programme we currently take back:

  • Beams in various sizes made from our recycled materials All Black, Cloudy Grey and Lava Grey
  • Steel (standard) components from our products (currently Benelux only)

The components must meet a number of basic conditions:

  • Free from heavy contamination or hazardous substances
  • No extreme damage that makes reuse impossible
  • Verifiably supplied by Streetlife

In addition to the current take-back of components, we are explicitly open to discussing the return of complete products together with you.
Are you unsure whether your material and/or product can be returned to Streetlife? Please contact us at recycle@streetlife.com.

What do you receive upon return?

As a thank you for your contribution to our circular chain, upon successful return you will receive:

A Closing-the-Cycle coupon: a voucher with a discount code for your next purchase from Streetlife.

This voucher works as follows:

  • The value of the voucher is based on the amount of returned material and the associated transport costs
  • The discount is not paid out in cash
  • The discount is valid for a fixed period of 5 years
  • The discount is deducted from the invoice amount of your new purchase

2. Assessment
We assess whether the materials are eligible for return and inform you about the next steps and the discount amount to be received.

3. Transport
Depending on the returned components/material, transport is arranged by you or, if agreed, organised by Streetlife.

4. Inspection
After receipt, we inspect the materials for quality and suitability.

5. Voucher issuance
After approval, you will receive the corresponding Closing-the-Cycle coupon with the indicated discount amount for your next purchase.

Together we make the difference

With the Take-Back Programme we aim to make reuse realisticand accessible. By returning materials to the chain, we save raw materials and reduce waste together.

Our Take-Back Programme is continuously evolving. In addition to the current take-back of recycled beams (All Black, Cloudy Grey and Lava Grey) and steel (standard) components, we are explicitly open to exploring the return of complete products together with our customers.

We continue to invest in innovation and material reduction. This way, step by step, we are building a system in which materials and products remain in the chain for as long as possible. Together we continue to develop, reduce and make our operations more sustainable.

Do you have questions about the Take-Back Programme or would you like to register components/products? Please contact us at recycle@streetlife.com.
