The Solid Hex Green Isles consists of hexagonal elements and comprises set sheet steel in four different heights: ground level (12 cm - 5"), seating height (47 cm - 19"), a second seating level (68 cm - 27") and a podium level (90 cm - 35"). The modular system includes walking grids, seating elements and (combined) planters. Solid slats of hardwood, Accoya or Cloudy Grey, placed in a diamond pattern are used for the seats. Dynamic platforms and podiums with integrated planters can be created with the Solid Hex Green Isles. The demountable structure even makes it possible to incorporate existing trees into the configuration. The Solid Hex Green Isles is ideally suited for seating landscapes in large urban squares or on campuses. The diameter of one hexagonal module is, at its widest, 195 cm - 76" from point to point. The distance between two parallel sides is 170 cm - 67".
